EQUIPMENT PURPOSE

Natural casing threading device NO-1 is designed to accelerate and simplify the process of casing threading on the filler cog or twisting device KOMPO during production of boiled, cooked smoked, semi-smoked, dry, liver, blood sausages and small sausages. Reduces the worker’s hands contact time with a wet, cold casing. Reduces physical stress when the casing is thread by the maker.

OPERATION OF THE THREADING DEVICE

The NO-1 is mounted on the twisting device or directly on the filler KOMPO. To connect to 220 V mains, insert the plug into the socket. The filler operator takes the end of the natural casing from the container and puts it on the beginning of the cog. Then he tilts the device to the cog by means of the handle. When the tilt sensor is triggered, the threading roller starts rotating. During subsequent tilt, the roller touches the casing on the cog and starts pushing it, threading the whole measured segment. Casing spreading speed can be adjusted by changing the roller rotation speed and the pressing force against the nozzle.

 

HIGH MOBILITY OF THE DEVICE 

Due to integrated power unit in the device housing, it can be easily moved between the fillers in the workshop. Can be used immediately after connecting to power supply voltage 220 V.

 

Casing threading device can be used on a separate process table, while casing is thread on false cogs and then several fillers are provided simultaneously with tubes with casings.

 

ASSORTMENT OF THREADING ROLLERS:

 

The assortment includes three variants of threading rollers:

  1. profile roller – effective when threading high quality casings with natural strength; 
  2. microporous roller – used when threading thin-wall casings (sheep casing) and casings after long storage in salted condition; 
  3. foam rubber roller – effective when threading casings of all types. 

 

 

 

ADJUSTMENT OF THE THREADING ROLLER ROTATION SPEED

From time to time during production process, situations arise when it is necessary to process natural casings with limit shelf life periods, having various defects, stored in improper conditions, which lead to decrease in the casing elasticity and mechanical strength. To process such casings in the NO-1, there’s the function of the threading roller rotation speed, when by means of reducing case threading speed, a minimum effect on it is ensured, and accordingly, its quality is not impaired after mechanical threading on casing.

 

AUTOMATIC SWITCHING-ON WHEN TILTED TO THE COG

Tilt sensor allows for automatic switching-on of the threading device (after the power button is pushed) when it approaches the cog which eliminates the need for the operator to manually switch on and off during each use and, accordingly, reduces the amount of unnecessary movements.

 

OPERATION ON THE TWISTING DEVICE FPR

For operation of the threading device with the twisting device FPR, it is necessary to purchase a specialized bracket for the FPR, which is installed directly on the housing of the twisting device. 

 

OPERATION ON THE TWISTING DEVICE FPK, FPL, FPS

For operation of the threading device with the twisting device FPK, FPL, FPS, it is necessary to purchase a specialized bracket for the FPK, which is installed directly on the flange of the twisting device.

 

OPERATION WITH THE TWISTING DEVICES IN THE RETRACTED POSITION

It is possible to use the device for operation with the filler during direct filling, when the twisting device is not dismantled from the filler housing but is retracted in the storage position. For operation of the threading device with the twisting device FPK, FPL, FPS in the retracted position, it is necessary to purchase additionally a bracket of a special form and a flange for extension of standard cogs. 

 

 

OPERATION WITH FILLERS OF OTHER MANUFACTURERS

For direct filling using fillers of other manufacturers, it is supposed to use a stand for operation on the technological table. The threading device is mounted on a special stand which is installed on the technological table near the filler cog and the device is ready for use. The stands are available in two options: metal with rubber pad and suction stand.
